The experiences you have had during this simulation have presented you with the basic concepts of math, economics, and consumer education. Developing a personal budget has no doubt been different than any educational assignment you have ever had. Answer the following questions by recording your thoughts on this piece of paper (add additional sheets if necessary).
1. Where did you experience math that you never thought you would while completing this project?
2. Think of an area in your life that you already use one of the two areas (economics or consumer education). Before this project did you realize that in life you will be required to incorporate many of these ideas? Are you now better equiped to make educated decisions than before this project?
3. Imagine that you have to explain to a fellow classmate about the about the basics of a financial budget. How would you do that and what information must be learned by that classmate to have a basic level understanding of managing their finances?
